Periodontal treatment

A periodontal evaluation is sometimes the only way to detect gum disease. Your dentist can refer you to a periodontist, or you can make your own appointment for an evaluation.

A periodontist is a dental specialist who has not only completed 5 years of dental training, but has also completed an additional 3 years of speciality training in daignosing, preventing and treating gum disease. Periodontists can also place implants as well as perform cosmetic periodontal treatments.

Periodontal consultation €120. (€150 if diagnostic Panoramic x-ray required)

Periodontal treatment is specific to each patient and is planned and priced at the consultation appointment.

Specialist periodontal treatment is subject to Tax refund at the 20% rate.
