Gum shields for Meath Players
August 31st, 2010With their new gumshields, pictured with Geraldine are Meath players Joe Sheridan, Seamas Kenny and Brian Farrell. The players are all too aware of the potential damage that can be caused to teeth by a collision on the pitch.

Unfortunately further government cutbacks since April 2010 mean the Medical card patients may no longer have their teeth cleaned free of charge.
Two fillings are allowed /year and extractions on the scheme as normal.
Prior approval must be sought for any denture work.

P.R.S.I Patients
April 22nd, 2010Unfortunately since January 2010 the P.R.S.I scheme only covers one examination per year. Prior to this a patient with enough P.R.S.I contributions could avail of a free scale & polish twice a year and one free examination a year. There was however a patient contribution towards fillings/extractions/dentures etc.
